Oklahoma Legislature won't meet again until February. A vote of the people is required to amend the state constitution. The state legislature can authorize the vote.

I saw a poll in the Oklahoman where the majority wanted the 10 Commandments monument removed if they weren't going to put the Satanic one up. There is other irony in Oklahoma. The director of the Oklahoma ACLU, who filed the suit against the Ten Commandments, is a registered Republican. This lawsuit also represents a church minister.

I'd be in favor of a public posting of the Jewish law...so long as you don't stop at those first ten commandments. Lay out the whole thing. All of it.

I have a funny feeling that what comes after those first ten won't have too many fans.

Why post anything of a religious nature on government grounds? Yes, it does promote Christianity it's fool hearty to believe otherwise.
