Oklahoma Legislature won't meet again until February. A vote of the people is required to amend the state constitution. The state legislature can authorize the vote.

There is other irony in Oklahoma. The director of the Oklahoma ACLU, who filed the suit against the Ten Commandments, is a registered Republican. This lawsuit also represents a church minister.

Lot of atheist hand wringing going on here. The fruit loops worshipping a demon, schmos from India crying about their deity.

Ten Commandments does not promote one religion over another despite what the detractors say.

I'd be in favor of a public posting of the Jewish law...so long as you don't stop at those first ten commandments. Lay out the whole thing. All of it.

I have a funny feeling that what comes after those first ten won't have too many fans.

Keep right on going to Exodus 21.

Why post anything of a religious nature on government grounds? Yes, it does promote Christianity it's fool hearty to believe otherwise.
