Does the public deserve these IRS scandal questions answered?

If you vote no, what reasons do you have to not want these questions answered other than perhaps you are a democrat and put partisan cheering above liberty? Are you afraid this could lead up to Obama, so you don't want these reasonable questions answered? Isn't it our duty to snuff out illegal government targeting of its citizens for political gain of those in power?

Questions:

#1 Lois Lerner said "[E]verybody is screaming at us right now 'Fix it now before the election. Can't you see how much these people are spending?" Who was screaming at her and what actions did she take to "fix it?"

#2 Lois Lerner blamed the targeting on line level people in Cincinnati, how can she then explain the following:
A) The line level people in Cincinnati had documentation that DC had asked for the targeting
B) Line level people in Cincinnati do not have control over other IRS branches, yet targeting happened at IRS branches literally from coast to coast
C) An IRS attorney has stated that the targeting came from an Obama appointee in DC

#3 After the story broke, Lois Lerner in an email said the "Tea Party matter is Dangerous" and asked if "the FEC could save the day." Why is this targeting coming to light so dangerous and why did you want the FEC to help you?

#4 Lois Lerner said that the targeting and questions asked were wrong, apologized, and had stopped. So why did her very office continue sending inappropriate questions targeting and auditing conservative groups with her name on the letters AFTER she admitted it was wrong?

#5 Of the groups flagged for using conservative sounding words, 83% were conservative. Of those groups flagged 100% of the groups actually targeted with an audit were conservative and all of these groups were asked inappropriate questions. How is it that only conservative groups were audited with this program?

#6 Who at the IRS illegally leaked confidential IRS data of conservatives to left-leaning media? When did you find out about it and what have you done to stop it from happening again?

#7 Why did Lois Lerner against regulations improperly contact the FEC directly about conservative groups?

#8 Why were IRS employees breaking the rules by campaigning for Obama on the job to citizens dealing with the IRS? What steps have you taken to prevent this from happening again?

I hope you're not waiting for anyone who votes "no" to tell us why.

Of course these questions need to be answered. I love the part of your no choice that says "I can't have these questions answered for partisan reasons." That should've been its own choice and, really, a large number of votes would be for that one if the lefties were voting honestly.

Of course. The IRS works for me. I am the boss and they are my employee. I pay their salaries. I deserve answers.

If the IRS is truly as corrupt as Issa seems to indicate, then any outcome less than it's elimination damns him as incompetent. They will never get to the bottom of it, because there is also, I truly believe, a paper trail to the Ohio state GOP HQ.

I do not think it is the IRS that is incompetent, but rather the people with authority over the IRS, who are using it for their own personal and political agenda. That was one of the Articles of Impeachment that was going to be brought against Nixon, had he not resigned instead - Abuse of Power, for his illegal use of the IRS.

It is interesting, but not surprising, how Democrats were eager to impeach Nixon for using the IRS to target his political enemies, yet now such abuse of power is encouraged by Democrats. This is the type of hypocrisy the Democratic Party is noted for throughout its history.

Lois Lerner opened this can of worms when she announced at an open forum that the IRS had Targeted some Tea Party groups. She blamed that on "rouge agents in Cincinnati and she did that because she was aware that the Inspector General for the IRS was going to release his report on that Targeting the next week. The IRS has stonewalled ever since the Congressional Hearings began and then the same Lois Lerner pled the 5th to not incriminate herself AFTER she made a statement to the hearing that she was innocent.

The IRS has the power to go after any American Taxpayer with Federal Agents and even throw people in jail.
The public is expected to just blow that off? We already KNOW she was involved - the question is where did the orders come from and how many other people were involved.

It boggles the mind that Democrats, Leftists and the President and Attorney General of the United States think this is a non issue with "no smidgen of corruption". How do these people face a mirror every day?

There is NO PROOF that Obama or ANYONE in the White House had ANYTHING to do with this.

NO PROOF.

If you want Lerner's head, OK. You might get it. If you do, congratulations. As of now, that is all you or Issa will get.

For the life of me, I can't imagine anyone not wanting to know the truth, irrespective of what it is. If she is innocent then what does she have to fear in testifying? If that is the case, she would be vindicated.
