So, I presume the people applauding this would have no problem sending their teenage daughter on an overnight sleepover with an adult heterosexual male.
Let's hope the people applauding this don't have any children.
So anyone who wants to have their sons indoctrinated as homosexuals while they are still small boys, possibly including hands-on training, the Boy Scouts of America is the place for you to take them.

Girl Scouts does allow male leaders. Boy Scouts has allowed female leaders for more than twenty-five years. I know, because I was one of the first wave, and I didn't even have a child at the time. I married a young ASM, served as a committee member, and helped lead many weekend backpacking trips in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. It was great fun, and I had some of the best times of my life with that troop.
Our current troop is doing just fine with this latest decision. We have our ups and downs, but whether or not we have gay boys or leaders is not an issue. Personally, I think it's always been ridiculous to ban a lesbian mom from serving as a den mother or a gay father from serving as committee member, and that's really what we're talking about here. In any case, Scouts requires two-deep leadership and has a robust Youth Protection Training program to educate boys and their parents about the standards for ensuring safety.
There will of course be those who pull their support. Oh well. As for the rest of us, we will go on without them, because we love Scouting and all the wonderful people and experiences it brings into our lives. YIS...Randomparent
