Give me one good reason why the US shouldn't try to emulate these countries more. They're happier, healthier, and wealthier. LGBTQ laws not only sanction marriage, but make workplace discrimination illegal. These countries all have the lowest rates of gender inequality and the highest rates of women in government.
Not to mention great education systems, five weeks paid vacation, maternity and paternity leave.

Not Eastern Europe, but the socialist countries like Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Etc. I feel like they are trying to turn us into Europe by taking away freedoms and pushing their liberal/socialist views on us.

Making a home inside the city core is getting to be expensive like those of Western European cities.
I work more hours than the average American. I am not about to keel over from exhaustion. Nothing wrong with work.
Before government started interfering with families children had two parents.
After commute and errands, do you ever actually have time for your family? Don't you have any friends or hobbies? Do you even want an actual life other than work?
It just seems a bit sad to exist merely to be confined in an office....but hey, it's your life I guess. lol
You post as if Americans are being given the choice to receive all the benefits of European's receive, but are saying no to more taxes. Who is offering this choice?
Is that a joke? We have the MOST progressive taxes in the world, and there are literally thousands of city-data posts in which people stupidly claim that high income earners "don't pay their fair share."
I've seldom seen a more greedy bunch, always wanting more and more in government-provided services/benefits but wanting to pay little to no taxes for them.
Liberals of Europe hate what Europe is and are changing it.
