Give me one good reason why the US shouldn't try to emulate these countries more. They're happier, healthier, and wealthier. LGBTQ laws not only sanction marriage, but make workplace discrimination illegal. These countries all have the lowest rates of gender inequality and the highest rates of women in government.

Not to mention great education systems, five weeks paid vacation, maternity and paternity leave.

Shall I go on?
Yeah gotta make things politically correct for 2-3% of the population(gays).

Having rights is not about political correctness, it's about having RIGHTS.

You got that much right. Religion is dying. The New Left is rising. It's a Brave New World out there!

Making a home inside the city core is getting to be expensive like those of Western European cities.

It just seems a bit sad to exist merely to be confined in an office....but hey, it's your life I guess. lol

Is that a joke? We have the MOST progressive taxes in the world, and there are literally thousands of city-data posts in which people stupidly claim that high income earners "don't pay their fair share."

I've seldom seen a more greedy bunch, always wanting more and more in government-provided services/benefits but wanting to pay little to no taxes for them.

Do liberals want the U.S. To turn into Europe?

I want the US to turn into the US of the Constitution which says nothing about tasking us with playing world cop.

Liberals of Europe hate what Europe is and are changing it.
