The rich liberals have this guilt because they have used all the capitalist tools and have done very well.. such as hollywood .. they also live very rich and live in multiple homes .. it is a front.. they are the biggest capitalists with guilt. So they want to associate with the poor to further their image . Many elitistists are the do gooder hypocrites who pat the poor on their heads and little else.

You don't want to take your country back from politicians who are corrupt and have no respect for our laws or our own citizens? You don't want to make our government fiscally responsible? These are just a couple of things that those who say they want to take their country back advocate for. Why would that annoy you?

Actually, liberals tend to be long term thinkers and they tend to be more worldly due to living in diverse urban centers. So they tend to push for policies and laws that benefit the country as opposed to the narrow-minded more selfish conservatives, who generally are just looking out for themselves.

One of the most patriotic thing that an American can do is.... pay taxes.

Below is made during WWII urging Americans to sacrifice for their country and do the most patriotic thing they can do!!

If Republicans got back to their economic roots and leadership in solving problems rather than denying them, they'd probably win Silicon Valley over.
And if they'd quit trying to pass laws based on what the Bible says. It turns many people off.

One can be capitalist and still vote Democrat. Most are, in fact. All Democratic policy is an acknowledgment that captialism works but has to be buffered because it doesn't work in all situations. The whole "socialist" charge is just political posturing for cheap political points. Very, very few are socialists.

I mean, our economy has actually grown faster under Democratic presidents historically. Look at Obama: record corporate profits, record stock market, private sector jobs growing by millions, public sector jobs shrinking

That's a capitalist. He just works to expand the reach so it benefits more people and ultimately grows stronger. That strong middle class favoritism, for example.

Especially when it was never theirs to start with. Reading this entire thread, started by a Republican , is kind of humorous, because they will be the first ones to claim the Left is dividing America, and not the Conservatives, but here they are with a whole thread about how they enjoy dividing themselves fro those who don't agree with the, I find that funny and hypocritical.

I also find it interesting that the Right Wingnuts start so may posts in all threads about Liberals do this, and Liberals do that, and Liberals caused this and that. Must be a Conservative way of coping with failures they keep having in anything they try to do. They fail to realize that if they didn't have all these incompetent people running for Offices, they would have more success. I know its hard for the GOP to pick good folks, when they are picking from such a shallow pool, but they could try a little harder. .

They also claim that differences of opinion can be had without calling names and dirty Politics, yet look what's starting to come out of the Mouths of the GOP Candidates now. Claiming our President is the largest sponsor of Terrorism? Claiming our President is marching Jews to the ovens? If that's not mud slinging of the most Un-American kind, then I don't know what is.

Then just hate away. Make no doubt about it, whatsoever, the power of hate is a hell of a lot more powerful than love.

Of course they want to take the Country back, like they had with George Bush. You know, the Administration who wasn't corrupt, and obeyed all the Laws, and respected the people.?

Of course that "No Corruption" was when they and Haliburton where not fixing contracts, stealing form the Government, cheating on Contracts, stealing from the American Taxpayer.

And of course they respected our Laws, when they where not kidnapping people, torturing Prisoners, Breaking the Geneva Convention, and spying illegally on Americans, and stuffing people into GITMO with no charges, no trials, because it would be illegal in this Country to do so.

Of course they had respect for our Citizens, when they where not fixing elections, making deals with Wall Street and the Banks to defraud Citizens and Steal their life's savings.

Yep, they want their Country back. Ask Cheney.

That's a good one. Show me any Conservative Republican that's done anything for the Poor? Even a pat on the head. The only thing they have to do with the poor, is wanting to make sure they get as little as possible or nothing. Heck, they don't even want them to have Medical if they can't afford to get Life Saving Medical attention. Yep, the Republicans are all for the Poor people. Sure enough.
