He's a Democrat, the media won't care and the Democrats will rally round. He'll scream racism every day and people will agree with him.
Funny, National Public Radio spent quite a bit of time on the indictments today. Twenty-nine count indictment sought by the DOJ after a two year investigation initiated by the DOJ under two African American Attorney Generals during the presidency of an African American president. I really don't there is going to be a whole lot of rallying around Rep Fatah.
Wrong. Democrats are much harsher on their folks than the GOP. Weiner, et al were forced out. While on the GOP side it takes an act of God for their politicians to be forced out....just ask Jesus for forgiveness and you are back in business with GOP voters. See Michael Grimm, Mark Sanford, and many others.
Bull****, if that was the case Clinton would be perp walking in leg irons. Obama would have been impeached by both houses. Holder would be sitting in a prison cell instead of working on wall street.
Not to mention all of Obamas psychophantic minions in government tossed out on their ear or slapped in handcuffs.

Bull****, why were Nixon, Reagan, Bush and Cheney never jailed?
He may be lucky - if he can get sentenced and jail before Obama leaves office - he has a good shot at a Pardon. I don't think I've ever seen so much Corruption by so many Agencies, Departments and Politicians as I've seen in the last 5 years.
Let me repeat. The investigation of Fatah began under the Obama administration, an investigation supervised by both Obama appointees to the post of Attorney General to argue that a 29 count indictment would lead to a lenient sentence much less a pardon is utterly ridiculous.
As for the corruption that you've seen, apparently you missed both the Nixon and Reagan (128 either investigated, indicted or convicted) years.
Exactly, corruption isn't a party specific thing, if corruption is happening anywhere in politics, then it needs to be stopped and the ones guilty should be fined and possibly face jail time.
Unless the party member has an "R" at the end of his name, then it's ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
If it's a dem....well, the repubds do it also....thanks for proving the point...LOL...

This thread is just 3 pages, have you NOT read this thread? LOL....
What does "African American" have to do with anything?:smack :
"The DOJ alleges that Fattah borrowed $1million from a wealthy donor during his 2007 mayoral bid, returning $400,000 in unused funds and devising a scheme to repay the remaining $600,000 using charitable and federal grants filtered through a non-profit - the Educational Advancement Alliance - created and headed by Fattah."
mmmm, Isnt there another Democratic candidate being accused of filtering money through a non profit, through "speeches"?
