"The Obama administration is violating a judge’s order to turn over documents in the Aug. 6, 2011, shootdown of a U.S. helicopter — call sign Extortion 17 — that killed members of SEAL Team 6 in Afghanistan, a watchdog group is charging. On the fourth anniversary of the worst one-day loss of military life in the war on terror, families of the dead say they are aghast that the government will not honor basic requests under the Freedom of Information Act...U.S. District Judge Richard J. Leon in February signed an order requiring the Obama administration to release documents on a continual basis through the spring and summer. The Justice Department said at least 50 documents in the Pentagon have been identified as relevant, but only one has been turned over. And Justice unilaterally set a new deadline for the release and then ignored it, Mr. Klayman said. Throughout, he said, Justice lawyers have refused to take his phone calls."

Obama stonewalls SEAL Team 6 Extortion 17 helicopter crash probe, watchdog says - Washington Times

Maybe the DOJ lawyers are too busy job hunting. Hopefully, the next President will clean them out in 2017. "You're fired!"

The Families went to Freedom Watch to help with the FOIA requests. Klayman represents them.

Complete information about the Seal Team 6 mission is in the story. The controversy is that Seal Team 6 was hastily sent on a mission to help Army Rangers capture fleeing Taliban but the Rangers weren't in need of help/rescue and military officers interviewed by investigators said they can never recall an immediate reaction force being sent on this type of mission. The Taliban was positioned by the landing zone waiting for them.

To put the icing on the cake, the deadlines to produce the documents were the dates requested by the Pentagon so they missed their own imposed deadlines and in case you think the problem is just the Obama administration, the families are also angry about how the House Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee on national security conducted their hearing on the matter. "You're fired!"

Why are they stonewalling?

Didn't you hear Obama when he said that his was going to be "the most transparent administration ever" ??

In the fine tradition of liberal hypocrisy that translates to there is nothing to see here folks move along..... hey look a cute lion just got shot in Africa.

It is possible that all the info about the seal team 6 crash was on Hillary's server and in her emails?? So they have nothing to release to the public.

Why would Obama want to open up another can full of scandal when they already have a full plate of it?? Besides there is a dead lion in Africa. Didn't you hear?

I guess you must have forgotten - those are just "silly trumped-up scandals" or else "coz dey don't wike me coz I bwwwaaack". THE MEDIA needs to treat Obama the same as they treat everyone else. Herman Cain I recall they turned the screws on him every half-hour a new announcement about the latest UNPROVEN ALLEGATION until he dropped out. They've never done that with Obama, whatever he says - whatever needs covering up that's where the mainstream is. WRONG. Nobody's asking him why the investigation into Benghazi that he so firmly told us was "going to get to the bottom" of that went nowhere. No one asked him about what happened to posting on CSpan before signing something. That's a joke not only is it not posted on CSpan, he doesn't even go thru the system just uses his PEN AND HIS PHONE and does as he pleases.

There are a million questions that have never been asked and properly answered. He just says "I'm not going to address something we've been there". NIXON was forced to resign over a break-in while the body count is piling up on Obama, Egypt sued Obama for war crimes and for funding HAMAS, lips are zipped and his records are still sealed. WHY? a garbageman has to present more paperwork than the guy with the drones and armies at his disposal. And I wanna know why the wealth he's redistributing doesn't seem to be restricting his cash flow or his vacations. Why does he say private schools are divisive and need to be done away with while sending his 2 daughters to one? SO MANY QUESTIONS that should be asked and answered.

Why did Obama ridicule that reporter a few weeks ago for doing his job? I thought he was Mr. Transparency and you can't be that if you are shaming people for asking questions you don't want to answer.

Why does Obama have Al Sharpton whose entire history is one of race-baiting and illegal activities as his advisor on race relations. What do you suppose would have been the reaction if Bush had appointed David Duke as race relalltions advisor. ONE SET OF RULES - NOT a get out of jail free card for Obama.

Default Why Is The Obama Administration Stonewalling On The Seal Team 6 Crash Investigation?

Force of habit?

None of them could have been his son?

Seal lives don't matter?

They just read about it in the mornings paper?

[And, my personal favorite]

Just what difference does it make?

Everything is upside down with the Obama Administration.

It's a great time to be America's enemy and terrible time for allies.

Whenever I see the name Klayman, I immediately become skeptical. Larry Klayman is not a trustworthy attorney. He files frivolous, meritless lawsuits regularly.

The GOP House should start another investigation.

They're so good at figuring these things out and getting to the bottom of it all.

That's funny. You should have the same reaction anytime you see the name Barack Obama, Josh Earnest, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Koskinen, Lerner, or any of the other lying pigs that make up this administration.
