Let me explain why i think it was dull.

There was no question about income inequality and secular stagnation.

Nothing about student debt, climate change.

No policy discussion about EPA.

Very marginal foreign policy discussion.

Overall it was utter useless.

You could say it was a chance for "swag" but other than that nothing.

Literally nothing.

Moderation had crafted questions for more views.

TBH I'm looking forward to DP debates.

Bernie would really challenge Hillary.

On GOP end there isn't a clue.

I really hope Huntsman decides to run.

There is a great chance for him to get the spot.

These are useless candidates.

US needs better people.

LOL, it must be exactly what MSM is saying. I guess they were supposed to brawl and treat Megan like she was oh so frail.

But he still is too inexperienced to be President. What in his job history tells you he would ever be able to accomplish the things he said so eloquently? One of the things he said last night was he would repeal Dodd Frank. Isn't that what Senators do, write legislation to repeal laws? Why hasn't he introduced legislation to do it?

Some of the ones eloquently railing against Washington are Washington.

His comment on political correctness in this country was spot on. We have far more important issues at hand!

I didn't think it was dull at all, but I also think the field was too big to ask a lot of questions that required in depth, policy answers. Those will come later when the stage isn't so full. This was just to give them all some sound bites to get replayed, giving them more exposure in the media.

With Trump getting the most time, in all attempts to take him down, did rather well just telling it like it is.
The winner of the debate on substance. Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee where very close to the overall win.

Did anyone notice, that the buzzer was not timed the same, for each question asked.
It was a fast buzzer more than a few times, compared to the other, buzzer times.

I swear Rand had 10 seconds, on one question.
Bush went on for over a minute, about his brothers advance into Iraq, before the buzzer sounded

Trump lost me. His bellicose style and vague accusations will not serve the US well, should he take the presidency.

Kasich really did well. Rubio did well, and is a good choice.

Rand Paul is a little crazy.

Walker faded.

Cruz, somehow, is scary.

Ben Carson would play well on the world stage. He's a bit more hawkish than I had imagined. I like him.

Exactly. Some people defend Trump by saying "oh this was just a Twitter war" but really, could they please name other celebrities who have made similar comments about women? This is even unusual behavior for a celebrity, let alone a presidential candidate

There are an awful lot of people in this country that agree with Trump's assessment of women.
I agree.
