According to the ASSUMPTION that CNN makes like they usually do, they base the bad deal and Schumer not supporting it on Schumer being afraid of not getting money down the road from people who are against the deal.

But when you hear Schumer's reasons then you hear valid points but that is not what CNN like to tell the public.

It is a bad deal and Democrats start to see the picture.

Iran has to vote to agree to let an inspection take place which is amongst a vote from China and Russia!!!

Really how can that even be part of this deal!

Schumer is for Schumer.. I would not trust that guy for anything. You can bet there is some reason behind his position other than "he thinks its a bad deal"

The NY delegation is reacting to their constituency and that means $$$ too. They are supposed to do that. Doesn't mean they are right, though. It looks like Obama will have enough votes to get this through regardless.

If it looks like Obama's veto is going to be over ridden you can bet that Schumer will have a sudden and sincere change of heart. There is no bigger hypocrite in Washington.

Good point. But Schumer is not the only one. There are many on both sides of the aisle that have the liberty to play politics with this issue, because an override is not possible.

Yeah, but Schumer is the ultimate weasel and you know he always has something up his sleeve. Schumer's statement doesn't say he'd vote to override Obama's veto, plus his sock-puppet and fellow NY senator Kirsten Gillibrand is voting for it. So he mollifies his Jewish base and generous donors while appearing statesmanlike while sending out signals to the administration it's all for show.

Don't be naïve. Schumer's "opposition" is a carefully calculated position based on pro-deal whip counts. He is positioning himself to say he opposed the deal even as the President will veto a House/Senate defeat of the deal. He comes out unscathed by fellow Jews while secretly supporting the deal along with his fellow non-Jew Democrats.

It's a win/win for him politically......nothing ideological or pro-Israel about his decision at all.

I believe when Obama lit up the White house in gay colors, God's blessing on this nation has been compromised.. Obama now has allowed Iran to destroy us and attack Israel. Obama is evil and his ego and deception to the American people has put a curse on this nation. God help us!

Agreed, yes do tell, what the hell did we get out of this deal, REALLY NOW. You have to be stupid, dumb and naïve, not to see, who got the better of the deal.

To put trust and stock in these people, who say Death to America, while burning our flag, and them showing figures with rope around their necks, what the hell. God help us, if we put trust in those people who have no problem with destroying those, who disagree with their stance.

Don't be ignorant and stupid as heck, and say it could not happen, those are things, that get us in trouble.

You never say never in life.

Given Chuckie's 'Israel can do no wrong' attitude along with his addiction to publicity and the cameras, I'm sure it wasn't a very difficult decision for him at all.
