They are getting good press. Every bad thing that happens gets blamed on rich white republican party.

period.

it does not matter one iota what reality is, this is all about making black folk fear the republican party.

State of emergency declared in Ferguson
The State of Emergency is for ALL of St Louis County - the St Louis County Police Department is in charge .... just as they were a year ago. To remind everyone - St Louis County PD can operate anywhere in the State of Missouri and they have the best investigative units in the State.

There have been 49 arrests today - including a lot of the "protest" leadership. The arrests were in Clayton.
Deray, Netta, Cornel West and several of the Reverends that lead the "protests".
It's going to get messy ....... real fast.

People of Ferguson. Stop this nonsense, get back to work, and start living your life.

you are talking to the wrong people.

the "people of Ferguson" are hiding and staying off the streets.

the people you need to talk to are the out of town Prog-Activists bought and paid for by the likes of George Soros who have come in to cause problems.

they NEED this to stay hot. they NEED black people to fear the police. the prog-activists invented "code words" and they have figured out that they can make "police" be code word for "republican"

hate the police = hate republicans.

I wasn't arguing that it's white people's fault. Was just kind of implying that if racist white people, or the KKK was in Ferguson, they'd pretty much be doing the exact same thing as the black locals are doing... burning that ************ down.

The OP did not hyperbolize this thread. I mean who didn't think that this was going to happen?

So much for a new police chief and a new city council. I guess it's back to the drawing boards. Every year Ferguson will try to rebuild, and then every year on his holiday Michael Brown will be honored in no other way except how he would want to be honored. Considering, if he were still alive, and some other thug had been killed, I guarantee you he'd be no peaceful protestor.

The voice of God could resound and thunder this message from the heavens and these people still wouldn't listen.

I do agree with you. Many outsiders, as you have pointed out, are the real ones causing and instigating the problems. Nonetheless, there are still many citizens within the surrounding areas who are participating. For ill-advised reasons.

The two guys shot in a drive-by after the protest were local, likely their shooter was too.

Civil unrest is a great time to try to settle beefs and get away with it.

Really embarrassing. People going out and purposely getting arrested. Others causing violence and worse. Are any of these folks asking just how much this is costing their city? All for what? To protest something that happened a year ago where the young man killed was at fault? So to mark the anniversary you spill out to the streets to wreck havoc? Just friggin sad. I feel for those that live there that want nothing to do with this but have to sit by and watch this happen and will have to deal with the consequences (damages, higher taxes, etc)
