The "media" is not one big group that gets together, coordinates or make plans to manipulate the course of an election. The networks are, in fact, competing with each other--not sharing information. And by definition, the low-info voter does not read or watch the news. They are more heavily influenced by relatives, friends and politicians who throw red meat in their direction.

Fox is the only one with skin in the election game, as Roger Ailes has been a GOP operative for his entire career pre-Fox. I imagine he does coordinate with the GOP establishment. And prior to the debates, Fox was the most Trump-friendly news network out of all of them. They always threw softballs and never really challenged him before. He doesn't like being challenged, as he is used to dictating to others.
you are rather naive arent you?

Running for President has nothing to do with policy and everything to do with popularity. The media will pick the flavor of news cycle and pick a heel of the month.

what a joke
What do you suggest? The candidates themselves? I can't be the only thinking that it's extremely unlikely that this bunch of candidates could work together to organize a booze-up in a brewery, let alone a debate.
