Yes, the show is so dishonest, that if the Daily Show makes a promise to you what they will or won't do during an interview beforehand, you have to assume that Jon Stewart is lying.

The fact that Stewart won't let guests film the interview themselves should be a sign that he is planning on lying and distorting.

We agree the show is built on distortions.

You're welcome.
You are coming off as a sheep incapable or reading or thinking? You either didn't read the politifact article that you have commented on numerous times and that shows a lack of honesty on your part OR you are just really bad at reading comprehension/have a low IQ.

""On Dec. 25, 1789, the United States Congress sat in session and continued to stay open on Christmas Day for most of the next 67 years. That's right. When the country was founded, Congress had exactly the same attitude about the sanctity of Christmas celebrations that a 7-Eleven does today. 'Yeah. We're open.'" -Jon (Stewart) Leibowitz

"the claim that "On Dec. 25, 1789, the United States Congress sat in session" is flat-out wrong.

The web page "Dates of Sessions of the Congress, 1789-present" says that the last session of 1789 for both the House and the Senate was Sept. 29. By the time Christmas came around, Congress had been out of session for nearly three months. Both bodies reconvened on the first Monday in January 1790.

So how many times did the House and Senate meet on Christmas Day during the first 68 years of Congress?

Once each.

The Senate assembled and immediately adjourned on Christmas Day in 1797; the House met on Christmas in 1802." -politifact

John (stewart) Leibowitz clearly says that they met on most Christmas days for the first 67 years...they met ONCE and immediately adjourned.

Comic Jon Stewart says Congress met most Christmas Days in its early years | PolitiFact Rhode Island

Get some integrity. Sheep in both parties are destroying this country, don't be a part of the problem anymore.

Get over yourself, anyone going for an interview knew what they were getting into and still went on. The only one lying was them lying to themselves that their interview would be different.

The link I posted showed they were in session during Christmas. No one might have been in Congress on Christmas day, but Congress didn't adjourn for Christmas like they do today.

It is a show on Comedy Central, nothing more, nothing less, but it does make all the right wingers butt hurt which is great for a laugh.

Both Stewart and Maddow started up pretty nice.

They are both loon shark liberals, now.
