As more and more of my fellow boomers retire, the work force will continue to to stay around the same level. More jobs are opening in all areas of the economy. For those who did not tell their kids about the benefit of education, you have done a dis-service to them and the nation.

Boomers are getting ready to start spending retirement savings and will continue to bring their kids and grand kids along.

Regardless of how stupid it is to think one man has control of our entire interconnected economy of 320,000,000 people that functions for the most part outside of any sort of direct governmental control.
They are simply more emotionally invested in their hate than in the country doing well. These are the same hypocrites who will tell you how patriotic they are and how much they love America.

Misery loves company.

It is not to worry. Should a Republican win the Presidency, within a month of him (or her) being sworn into office, many herein will discover what a wonderful economy it actually is! In just one month!

If people spend less at Christmas, it could be because everyone bought a new car in the fall. But, personally, I think your doom and gloom predictions are way off base.

Right Wing wish list to Santa: We've been good little Conservatives again this year, Santa. We've obstructed everything that's come our way, and we've wasted millions of dollars holding numerous political "investigations" (and promise many more in the coming year). Please bring us what we really want for Christmas this year, Santa. Please, please, please cause the U.S. economy to fail. All true American "patriots" will be ever so grateful to you for such an awesome present under our tree.

The premise of this thread is the right wing version of that classic SNL claymation satire in which a left-wing Santa gets ticked off at the red states.

Obamas private sector job growth numbers have been stellar. He is currently on track to beat Reagan in private sector job growth.

Conservatives complaining about the QUALITY Of the jobs created under Obama should think about the record public sector job losses that have occured under his presidency. Those jobs tend to be full time, well paid, and with good benefits.

Without public sector job growth, the last republican in the Oval Office would have not just one, but TWO terms with negative job growth!! Reagan annually inflated his job numbers with the addition of 300-400 thouand well paying public sector jobs.

Any comment on that conservatives?
