Liberal progressivism has nothing to do with progress.

Whatever toy the kid wants.

If a girl wants a GI Joe instead of Barbie, who cares? She's a kid.

And if a boy wants a Barbie instead of a GI Joe, who cares? He's a kid.

No kid should be made to feel weird for wanting to own a particular toy.

Many parents of girls tend to shop both departments. Boys clothing tends to hold up better and who does not love Legos?

People take the darndest things to social media.

Anyway, good for them. Make it all gender neutral. What's the big deal?

Uh, newsflash: a couple of rabblerousers are the ones who made a "big deal" out of the toy display, and the wimps at Target caved.

And give me a break--in all the years I bought toys for our kids, not once did I see signs indicating boys or girls. What they all had were colors-- a lot of pink, and blue which is what got a few women's panties in a twist.

It's always interesting how it's "no big deal" after changes are made because a minority thought it was a big deal and sought to change it. Target deserves what they get.

And I foresee a lot of changes (or should I say backsliding) come Christmastime.

Sorry that this change has gotten you so upset. I do not see customers asking for changes as "rabblerousers." Every request for change could be defined as such.

I'm not sure what Target is going to get. Are you threatening to blow one up? I have a feeling other large stores will do the same by Christmas. Regardless, if you are unable to shop for your children now that the colors are going to be taken down then I think you have bigger problems. Good luck.

I'm certain that the 10 yr and under crowd are so happy that their progressive/communist overlords have solved that nasty little problem in the toy aisle that has been offending them for so long.

What's next, a moratorium on parent mandated bedtimes? I would think that's far more offensive to the pediatric gang.

Liberalism, a mental disease.

I thought that conservatives are all for capitalism. Target, a publicly traded corporation, is only interested in making profits, and they have no interest in being PC unless they believe it leads to a higher profit now or over the long run. That's capitalism. Deal with it.
