She deleted tons of emails and wiped the server clean before giving it to the Fed's. That is why she has nothing to hide. Thankfully it will kill her campaign.

Hillary is finished. Now the only question that remains is who she will blame for the lost campaign.

And no we do not want to change how security works. Security guys by their nature are quite untrustworthy in matters requiring judgement and tradeoff. Leave them in charges and in 4 years you would have a government completely opaque...not a streak of transparency left. Security guys are brain washed by the system into a belief that everything must be secret. Thast is actually a good thing...but not if you let them get in charge.
Hillary simply doing her job as you put it is laughable. Do you honestly believe after having watched both her and Bill lie through their teeth to preserve their own political skins, would ever come clean about mistakes they made?
Unless they are caught red handed, or it is a Hail Mary in hopes to survive before the ship sinks, she is never going to admit she received or sent anything classified. We obviously also have no clue what she erased which is likely even more damaging than what is currently being discussed.
I am sure you don't believe that, but I'm sure you would be giving Cheney the same blind trust if he were in the exact same situation, right?
Heck even if (D) appointed security experts from the CIA or NSA were to come out and say she really screwed up on several of the emails that no one in their right mind could not have known they were top secret, you and other koolaid drinkers will believe she did everything a-ok.

You also mention transparency which is really laughable. Obama and Pelosi both claimed they were going to be the most transparent in history, yet even liberal and professional journalists have said they are the worst in their lifetimes. Maybe put down the pitcher of koolaid and read something that might educate you on the corruption of both Obama & Co which of course includes Hillary;

I'd much rather trust security experts than political appointees from either party (unless they had sufficient backgrounds) to determine what is Top Secret and what isn't.
Expecting Hillary to admit having screwed up at this point would be akin to trusting Lance Armstrong to take his own blood/urine samples and report the actual results. I also find it funny how your ilk sees no hypocrisy when she herself railed against the very thing she would wind up doing herself;

Of course the left loves to rail against things the right does until they themselves get into power, then what was akin to shredding the Constitution, is perfectly legal and legitimate.

Republicans like fake Clinton scandals almost as much as they like denying science.

She didn't break any laws. It was a State Department rule to always use the government email address/server, not a law, and it was put in place after Hillary already left. The two emails that contain "top secret information" were sent to Hillary's personal email/server before the information they contained was made "top secret."
If Hillary has to go to jail then so do the last 4 Secretaries of State, because they all did the same things.

I guess I am confused about the whole email 'scandal'. What did she do different than her predecessors?

Or, for that matter, different from half the 2016 Republican Presidential field?

Jeb Bush and Scott Walker among 2016 hopefuls who have used private emails | US news | The Guardian

And for those hysterically wailing about the private server...

1) Jeb Bush (the likely eventual GOP nominee) used a private server for his eight years as Florida Governor, and
2) Don't you think a private server is at least a little more secure than a third-party server, where all the information is stored in someone else's non-governmental database?

If course, these are the same Kool-Aid chuggers who live in a fantasy world where the Clintons are mafiosi who whack people left and right, so expecting anything resembling rationality from them is hopeless.

We now know that that is not true.

What about all the other people who have used private servers including her predecessors?
