White rural Americans are conservative because they are scared of a world that is moving past their little town that is stuck in time, and are shocked that the world isn't what they thought it was. They are not conservative, they are reactionary

Shouldn't they embrace liberalism instead? I truly am astounded that poor whites (especially in the rural South) are mostly conservative Republicans.
The Republican elites are able to manipulate the unwashed by supporting emotionally charged issues, such as religion, abortion, immigration, the military, gun rights, homosexuality, race, and so on. Those people will focus on one or more of those issues, and decline to vote in their own selfl-interest.
That's okay, I am sure that conservatives feel that the Democrats do similar things with its low info voters. No matter which side you are on, the elites will surely take advantage of the minions.

The government moved thousand of American blacks into my neighborhood practically overnight and crime went up. The progressives probably want to put party member elites into the neighborhoods they moved them from. Talk about stealing people's neighborhoods, segregation . Thousands of muslim E Africans were also seeded. Illegal aliens too. It went from 95% white to about 40%, not from white flight but from overpopulating the area with non-whites.
