Sorry, but these gang bangers are every day demonstrating their menace to society through rampant criminal activity and scores of murders. Yet bleeding heart liberals choose to ignore this and will even label any concerns raised about gang activity or initiatives taken to end it as being "racist".

What does this have to do with the OP?

The Oath Keepers purport to oppose government injustice, which makes their presence in Ferguson an even bigger joke. If the presence has anything to do with what you are saying, well then they don't really stand for what they say they do, do they?

While not de jure, they act as de facto security officers and guards, if not, in what capacity do they act, and why are they there?

Good job trying to distract from looting and drive-by shootings.....by bringing up a group that did NOTHING.

The ability to walk and chew gum, and/or hold two disparate thoughts in your head simultaneously is a great gift.

Oath Keepers supporters need to get their story straight. Who hired them to do what?

My mistake. I thought this was about the first time it happened. That's why I deleted it.

I believe quite a few oathkeepers fall under this.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_En...ers_Safety_Act

The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) is a United States federal law, enacted in 2004, that allows two classes of persons—the "qualified law enforcement officer" and the "qualified retired law enforcement officer"—to carry a concealed firearm in any jurisdiction in the United States, regardless of state or local laws, with certain exceptions.

To the best of my knowledge, the Oath Keepers are not for hire. If you have evidence of this, I would love to see it. Tell me, how many people have they killed?

Well, they were not acting in the capacity of paid security, so are not subject to ordinance 701.115. Therefore they did not disobey a lawful order issued by the police.

So are you willing to admit that you were wrong in you accusation that they violated a county ordinance, and disobeyed a police order?
