More within the realm of probability is the failure of both sides of the Congressional aisle to fully fund embassy security.
It wasn't an embassy. Wasn't it a consular office or the CIA office in Benghazi? The real question is why was Stevens forced to go there to meet with the Turkish ambassador on the anniversary of 9/11? Wouldn't it have been better to do it on another date? Or, make the Turk go to the embassy in Tripoli? It seemed like a cluster all the way around in my opinion. Go to an unsecure town in control of the terrorists to negotiate arming Syrian rebels (future ISIS terrorists) on the anniversary of 9/11, while the military forces that are supposed to protect our people are off on some military training exercise hundreds of miles away. It was almost as if they had no idea what they were doing.
