Well, for Shaun, it's how he paid for college and how he made his living.

He got a scholarship that Oprah offers only for black men. He claimed to be the first victim of a named hate crime in Kentucky- turned out instead of a few dozen rednecks and racists beating him within an inch of his life, it was one guy protecting his girlfriend from Shaun harassing a girl over an $8 CD.

And he's made his living as a black activist and author writing about race issues. Except he's made up all the race issues he experience growing up because he's not black or biracial as he claimed. He's just a plain old white guy with two white parents.

BTW- for everyone claiming this came from "conservative media," that's not correct. Liberal outlets, including The Daily Beast, and entertainment website TMZ have also confirmed that he has been lying about his race and other things.

Yep, including George Soros.

Affirmative Action. A white or Asian person can get positions with less merit if they pretend to be black.

This isn't the first, or second person caught pretending to be black to get into school or obtain a job.

Actually, the scholarships are open to any race.
He's not biracial. He's white. Both of his parents are white. He's clearly trying to alter his appearance to look biracial, just like Rachel Dolezal did. But both are white with two white parents.

And the scholarship he got was from Oprah and only offered to black men.

He lied.

Yes, he clearly lied about his race and is now doubling down on it.

He lied about being black to gain a profit from it. Scholarship $$$ and a job writing about racial issues.

Amazing people will make excuses for this kind of behavior. A real black man deserved his scholarship money. He stole that from the real black man who would have got it.

A conservative black PAC has offered to donate $25,000 to Black Lives Matter if Shaun King can prove his father is black. So all he has to do is prove that he is not a liar (at least about this) and his organization gets a nice donation.
But that will be hard to do since one of his relatives went on CNN this morning and said Shaun is white with two white parents.

Group Offers $25K For Proof That Shaun King Is Black | The Daily Caller
