Wow some of their proposals are ridiculous! They basically want to be able to trash an entire city and not be criminalized for it.

DON'T BE A CRIMINAL AND YOU WONT BE TREATED LIKE ONE, SIMPLE

They literally said they want to be able to throw trash, smoke weed in public, be drunk in public, act crazy in public, trespass and not be stopped by police, what a bunch of BULL!

Only a dim bulb would consider this "proposal" comprehensive. I'm not referring to the OP, but to the organization that drafted it.

The "proposal" is unquestionably a single sided list of demands that merely intends to handcuff (no pun intended) the police.

What they willfully ignore is that policies such as broken window policing were instituted to help decapitate untenable violent crime.

If they do not like the manner in which the police conduct themselves to keep inner city neighborhoods safe, then they need to come up with proactive, not merely defensive, suggestions.

Otherwise, the crime rate will skyrocket and lead to much worse outcomes than were ever realized at the hands of the police. If we were to compare whether or not it is better for a violent criminal to die at the hands of the police or an innocent person at the hands of a criminal, I would hope that this organization would be intelligent enough to see what the correct choice is. Though, I fear that they would not, and will continue to politicize every questionably exploitable police interaction no matter what the true context or community consequence.

In summary, this "comprehensive proposal" seems as if it was written by someone who has never stepped foot inside a ghetto and has no personal stake in keeping violent crime at levels at least marginally above those in Somalia.

How about only black cops patrol black hoods? Or do you think the cop will be called a sell out?
