It's not getting much air time from the American TV news media but:

"Since 1999 or earlier, an increasingly large number of migrants have started to arrive in Calais, where they remain, living in makeshift camps, and attempt every night in their hundreds to illegally enter the United Kingdom by crossing the English Channel via the Eurotunnel Shuttle, either by breaking into lorries making the crossing or on the railway track itself. The migrant crisis led to escalating tension between UK and France in the summer of 2015. UK blamed France for not doing enough to stop migrants from entering the tunnel or making attempts to scale fences built along the border."

They are middle eastern.

It's why Trump wants a wall not a fence. Take a look at the photo here. That's not Mexico/US.

I mention it because a recent UK poll said this:

"Immigration is the biggest worry among British voters, overtaking the NHS and the economy as their main concern, according to a new poll. Fifty per cent of the public said immigration was among the most important issues facing the country, the highest level ever recorded by the monthly Economist Ipsos Mori poll."

The Wall Street Journal did do a piece this week on it:

"Britain is sending police officers to work with their French counterparts in Calais to target criminal gangs attempting to smuggle migrants into the U.K. from northern France, the latest effort by the two countries to stem the flow of migrants from illegally crossing into England. More than 3,000 migrants are camped out in Calais, in northern France, where they are hoping to reach the U.K. in search of jobs by jumping onto trucks, moving trains or even by walking through the 31-mile-long Channel Tunnel."

Besides jobs, guess why they don't want to stay in France? Because of the perception that they will attract less attention from police in Britain than they do in France, where police can request to see official identification papers.

Just pointing out we aren't the only ones with a problem. As an aside, why is the British Healthcare System the Number 2 (formerly Number 1) issue in Britain? I thought their healthcare system was supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I hope they have it in them to be as hard and brutal as their ancestors because they are going to need that to survive in the next 30 years.
