Why are liberals so anti-Christians in this forum when as soon as somebody brings up a topic about Islam you cannot go a single page without seeing someone saying that Christianity/Christians are as bad and often uses either quotes from the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) or something that Christians has done millenials or even thousand years ago. It's getting tiring
Ask yourself, when do you prepare who the next person will be blow himself/herself off in public killing innocent people, chop other people's head off, or fly planes into buildings?
Its not so much anti Christian but anti God or religions and since Islam is only around 1 percent of the religious in their local area they use Islamic fundamentalists as a guide of how Christian fundamentalist would act. Self denying the fact that with an exponential amount of Christian fundamentalist in their communities the same actions are not happening.
Liberals believe in big government and want to change western society.
Islam is a totalitarian ideology that destroys Non-Islamic societies.
There is overlap between the two.
This is if you can even get them to talk about Islamic radicalism or Muslim extremism at all... our own president even has a problem doing that.
Instead, they usually just deflect. And yes, the deflection often is to "but, but, the big bad Christians!"
Liberals see people from the Middle East as victims. The women are treated terribly, the violence against each other is terrible and the oppression that has been dumped on the people of these countries by the French, the Russians and now the big bad Americans how can your liberal heart not go out to these poor people??
To a liberal, people from the Middle east are much like black people here in Amercia. They are all victims. It is not their fault and we all know how liberals like to pass the blame.
The situation of the down trodded black person is not their own fault but the blame lies back in the 1800's when many blacks were slaves and owned by whites. To a liberal whites people are the problem.
In the middle east their problems stem from whites as well and a thousand years ago Christians marched and battled with the poor people during the Crusades. So blame the Christians for their problems.
To a liberal it is only a short hop not a jump to link Terrorism with Christianity.
It is easy to point the liberal finger and say white Christians are the problem. They make a great punching bag.
