No, it is just losing its medcaid funding because it got caught selling baby parts. The same thing would happen to any other provider that got caught breaking the law.
Except they haven't been proven to be breaking the law. And since we now find out that the videos were doctored *surprise surprise* that argument has even less weight.
That is one agency vs combined. I can only imagine the outrage if republicans gave 542 million to exxon mobile after it was caught purposely dumping oil into the ocean.
big oil is one of the biggest beneficiaries of corporate welfare, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if they continued to get theirs after big oil spills. but that's off topic. perhaps another thread.
Private doctors, the same ones that take all the other Medicaid and Medicare patients.
Their are more types of healthcare besides government paid for free clinics and the emergency room.
You really think that doctors in these poor areas (assuming there is a doctor) will accept Medicaid. Just name all the facilities that Jindal has lined up to replace these services, I assume he has a plan and this is just being done for the sake of efficiency and saving money.LOL
You started off with hospitals now we are on to doctors, don't you think they would have uses either of those services before going to a low end clinic. This is politics at is worst, he could care less about where these people end up as long as his ideology comes first.

It is a video and you can watch the whole thing if you choose. The camera don't lie.

Many doctors accept Medicaid just like they accept Medicare.
The people end up at the doctor, you are more worried about the name on the outside of the door than the care people receive or the cost to the tax payers.
You act like PP is the only health clinic in the country.

Government makes more in taxes than oil companies make in profit
You really don't read do you? How do you think these people pay for the clinics? They aren't free.
If the health clinic was privately funded then the state would let be able to shut it down, that is of course unless wide spread illegal activity is occurring.

There are doctors that will accept neither Medicaid or Medicare, do you really see that as an alternative in these poor areas.
If they get health care I could care less where they go but this optimistic view that there are places that will fill the void are irrational, this is just being done to punish PP at the expense of their constituents.
PP is the only clinic in many of these poor areas, have you ever been to an area where they operate, try and find a doctors office or a hospital in these areas in Louisiana.
