That may be your desire but it is not the law.

Correct me anyone if I am error. But unless found in the attack of crossing the border all are provided with a hearing.

2. Putting a wall up does nothing, most of the people fly in and overstay visas anyways.

There isn't the drive to do this beyond the white right base of the GOP which is minimal.

Someone sounds prejudice.

1.) You do understand how summer break and spring break came about for school, don't you?

2.) I agree. A wall can be used to keep us in, too. dig a hole, build a ladder....

Get rid of the 2 biggest incentives and they will self deport and it won't cost us a dime.
1.) Welfare Anchor Babies
2.) Employment of Tourists

1.) Amend the US. Constitution to clarify the 14th Amendment and that it is long past any ancestral slavery generation.
2.) Seize all assets business and personal of those employing Tourist. Even big corporations, their CEO's and all administration, including all shareholders.

Problem solved. We the people want that. Those in the Washington Cartel, don't.

No one is deporting eleven much less even five million illegals. It just is not logistically possible and would cost billions.

The last such large scale movement of persons were the Nazi Germany transports to death/horror camps. Rough estimates give fifteen to twenty million died at the various sites which means a much larger number actually were sent since there were survivors.

Nazi Germany however had cooperation via the populace both within Germany and the invaded territories, lands and countries. It is not at all a certainty that every single state or local government in the USA would comply with any directive from Washington, DC. For that matter it is most certain various groups including local politicians would do everything in their power to thwart any such attempts. Without cooperation from local governments (more importantly their LE forces), any mass round up and deportation scheme is doomed to failure.

All this being said the above comments/suggestions about increasing fines, inspections and prosecutions for those hiring illegal aliens would likely have *some* impact. If things became too hot and a good number of aliens couldn't find work some *may* choose to return home.

However being as that may there would be a not small hit to local and national economies if mass numbers of illegals were suddenly gone.

Don't know about elsewhere but here in NYC a vast amount of the service sector from nail salons to restaurants/catering, food delivery and so forth depend upon illegal labor. Laundries, car washes, janitorial services, domestic help, food delivery and preparation, construction, landscaping, childcare, eldercare... the list goes on and on.

In the South and Mid-West you find the same plus agriculture, food/meat/poultry processing plants....

Everyone both democrat, republican and liberal has their hands in the employ illegal alien pie. Hundreds of housewives from Maine to California depend upon illegals for affordable domestic and childcare services. If those women go then Madame is stuck back at home cleaning it herself and taking of her own children instead of working.

Again cannot speak for everywhere but here in NYC the large presence of illegals has not only made many lazy (why walk one or two blocks to pick-up take-away when it can be delivered for "free"?), but access to services they otherwise could not afford, at least not often.

A recent NYT series exposed something many of us had long suspected; the scores of nail salons all over the City are often staffed with illegal aliens smuggled into the country. That large pool of cheap and often abused labor allowed the proliferation of nail salons to the point of saturation. I mean you have some streets/avenues with literally one or two on every block.

This thread is reflective of the total ignorance of the participants. You don't know what is constitutional. You don't know existing law. You don't know Who can or cannot receive benefits, you don't know who is able to vote in this country. You all reflect total ignorance, intolerance and a complete misunderstanding of the root causes, impact, social and moral consequences of what you are proposing.
I fully expect that before this thread is done, some of you will suggest shooting all brown people on sight and letting God sort them out.
You all reflect a hateful, spiteful, cretinous attitude that flies in the face of everything Jesus Christ stood for.
I am thoroughly disgusted at the posters here, the politicians they hold up to as saviors and the evil turn My nation has taken.
Shooting brown people on sight won't be enough. As Packard Fan has correctly pointed out in this thread, many illegals have been here so long, are white and speak English perfectly so in the end, anybody could be a secret illegal. It could be that Italian guy down the street you've known for 20 years and is really named Jose'.

For the love of God, people, follow the laws of the land. Use the tools our fore-fathers put in place to run and administer our great nation. Senate bill SB744 passed in July 2013 by a 68-32 bipartisan vote has every solution you want. The wall, increased border patrol, overhaul of the green card system, immediate deportation of all felons, e-verify-mandatory. It's all there folks. Everything you ask for..........except immediate deportation for every one. You desperately want to punish these people by taking away everything they have and everything in their future they ever will have. For no other reason than hate and bigotry.

That will never happen. The American people will never stand for such draconian measures and they don't want a society that is worse than any totalitarian state on the planet.

You think Europe is in bad shape with all the refugees flooding the area? That will be a drop in the bucket compared to the global mess we create by rounding up 11-15 million human souls and shipping them back to a place that most of them are totally unfamiliar with.
If America does this, it will destroy the credibility of our nation with the rest of the world. No different than a child finding out that their favorite teacher is a pedophile.
We stand for democracy and human rights to the rest of the world. This act of callous disregard for human decency will be our undoing and signal the fall of a once great society.

Sorry for the rant but this hateful thread is one of the reasons I don't really post much here anymore. Coming to C-D, P&OC is like walking into a room full of poisonous vipers.

Kudos for Witutz for bringing up some real issues but the responses are so evil and misguided as to be beyond the pale.

What gets me going is how quick Americans are in blaming anyone but themselves for any perceived national problem. If it isn't Latinos, its black people, brown people or it is Muslims or Chinese. They are blamed for taking our jobs, our money or just being different. The solution is just make them DISAPPEAR!

Many years ago Rod Serling dealt with how prejudices, fear and this grasping for scape goats can destroy a average community in a Twilight Zone episode called "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street". In his summary Rod noted " prejudices can kill, fear can destroy and scapegoating can be as toxic as fallout, and sadly these things are not confined to the Twilight Zone. Americans are no different than the people of Germany, Austria and many other European nations who acted on their prejudices, fears and scapegoated people for being different from 1933 to 1945. It is not meant to insult by bringing up such pure evil that didn't happen so long ago and that that no one is alive who lived through it but to genuinely take to heart two words "Never Forget". Anyone who advocates ethnic cleansing, mass deportations, torture or aggressive war is on his way to truly forgetting or never having learned so they could remember in the first place.

"Comprehensive immigration reform" -- like the last three versions of it (1986, 2006, 2012) -- would be so full of loopholes that it wouldn't accomplish any of those things.

"Comprehensive immigration reform" means amnesty and continued open borders.

Yes, it is.

The fact that racist (against whites), anti-American, and Communist judges and politicians ignore the law that they're supposed to uphold doesn't mean that they are upholding the law.
