Worst idea ever.. What a joke comparing 3rd world Mexico with 1st world Canada! Why would any Canadians want to be an illegal immigrant in a country that has lower minimum wages, no national healthcare, less social benefits/welfare, higher crime rate, corrupt politics, no mandatory paid days off from work, etc.?!

Canada is our brother country; if they get attacked we also get attacked. No difference. We should ease the border, not secure it more!
but meanwhile its the stupid liberals who CONSTANTLY throw the attack of "you have more than one border" when people talk about a wall with mexico.....

so which way is it liberals...you think we need a wall on both....or just mexico......choices , choices, choices

How about its a foolish idea no matter which border its put on? It will be circumvented, and will cost a ton of money with no real effect.

Mandatory e-verify would cost a tiny sliver of the walls cost, and be 100X more effective.

So how about "Its a stupid idea that only a simpleton like Trump would think was good"

Do you think that criminals and terrorists are looking for jobs in this country?

Canadian bacon used to be good many years ago but it's not the same now--not sure why but though I considered it a treat in the 50's and 60's it doesn't taste the same now.

Speaking as a Canadian..........This wall idea is certainly dumb..........But if it cuts down the number of hand guns being brought into our country, by US visitors, I would be in favour of it.

The number of Americans who think that their "right to be armed " extends beyond the borders of the US is amazing. On a daily basis, the Canadian Border Services Agency finds and seizes firearms and other types of weapons from American travellers, at our ports of entry.

Thousands of firearms, as well as knives, pepper spray, brass knuckles, throwing stars, and swords, are confiscated by CBSA. It used to be that Canadian courts would grant bail to Americans who were charged with possession of illegal weapons.... But seeing as the vast majority of those granted bail failed to return to Canada for trial, the courts now put them in jail, to await their trial here.

Links to recent firearms seizures at Canadian ports of entry, involving US citizens.

And those are just from the past two months of 2015. All of the accused persons are US citizens.
