This is exactly why radicals don't like Obama. It's psychological. They want an authoritarian father figure (Cheney, for example, or Trump) who may be utterly wrong but they present their ignorance in such a powerful, cowboy like way that they get away with it.
What we have in Obama is a nuanced mind who understands the complexity of complex global relationships. He's a collaborator, not a dictator, and they don't like that.
Unemploynent rate is lower than historical median, dropping dramatically from double digits to 5.3%
Number of job openings highest in 14 years and 8 million new jobs, with private sector growing and public sector shrinking
Long-term jobless are below when Obama took over.
Surpassing Reagan in second-term job creation.
16 million more with health insurance
Domestic crude oil production is higher than in 100 years
Exports up 39%.
Manufacturing growing after a decade of decline
The only argument I've seen is labor participation rate, but that's low due to large boomer retirees and young adults staying in school longer, with a very small percentage of new disability insurance recipients.
Just inconvenient facts.
But what I find entertaining is reading these right-wingers dredging up the same talking points from Obama's first term or the 2008 campaign (e.g. community organizer.) Obama was so unpopular, terrible president that the voters re-elected him by 5 million more voters and 3/5 of the electoral votes.
O ... just all the reports that came out of Kenya after his visit. And for the record ... I care about as much for his 'father' as that 'father' cared for his kid.

So do you refer to the actual immigrant with only one American parent, Ted Cruz, as the Canadian running for president? Do you feel he is not qualified to be president?
If you don't, you need to ask yourself why you're OK with that and not with fake stories about Obama. Search your heart's darkest places.
All your claims have been debunked by many sources. Trump led that racist Birther movement and was proven wrong, so it's settled.

It's selective outrage.
They are outraged at Hillary using an external email account but ok with it when Colin Powell did it. They also had no issue with Karl Rove using an external email server for 95% of his White House correspondence. They are also not outraged at the millions of emails deleted by the Bush Admin right when they were being investigated by the Congress.
But Hillary, 'she should go to jail.'
Fortunately, we are arguing with the fringe right, a minority in a minority. These are the people who would have voted for Barry Goldwater and been members of the John Birch Society.
Polls are polls. Sounds like ongoing comprehension problems.
Besides, you summed up your own thread best:
Actually, 6 years of polling...including an average of polls from RCP....is pretty steadfast evidence. It's not like the people are being polled on a prediction such as an election.....these are polls of people's opinions of the direction this country is going under Barack Obama. If you can't see the difference, then I can't help you.
Perhaps we live in an alternate universe. The universe that I live in had Obama take office in a bleakest economic environment in 80 years. After seven years that economy is completely turned around -- we aren't in boom times, but unemployment is down, GDP is up, stocks are up, etc. Moreover, interest rates are low, so it's easier to buy a house and inflation is low.
In addition, because of Obama's main achievement, the ACA, a record number of people have health insurance and the rates are lower than predicted.
I know the right-wing doesn't want to hear any of this because to them, the Obama years have been a time of policy disaster on every front. Yet the odd thing is that candidates on that GOP stage a few weeks ago, had almost nothing to say about any of the supposed disaster areas.
Trump has nothing much to offer besides bluster. His proposals are either vague or unworkable and there isn't much evidence that he knows the issues. But he talks tough, so the GOP base loves him.
You also forgot Obama's promises to end the Wars in Iraq & Afghanistan and to kill Bin Laden which he accomplished on all 3 fronts. He has pretty much done almost all of what he promised and I would vote for him if he could run again as President.
GOP send us a good candidate...........please. Most of these are crazy.
Thanks,
