A wall is nothing more than an indication of a dysfunctional government on one side of it.

There are plenty of deficient bridges and highways, it's not a liberal or conservative issue. Many of these bridges wre built back in the early 1900's with a 50 year life span and nothing is being done.

There was some bi-partisan agreement to raise gas taxes but that fell through, basically living budget to budget and going no where.

Picture of a bridge in Pittsburg where they put a shield underneath to catch falling concrete, I think they finally got around to repair

Once again, there is no plan to round them all up and deport them. The solution is to remove all of the incentives for them to remain here and many if not most will self-deport. But even it they were rounded up the costs for doing so would still be less than allowing them to remain here and suck our taxes dry.

How many current and former governors running for 2016 have used their muscle to make e-verify the law in their state?

The Chamber of Commerce and Small Business lobbies oppose e-verify.

The bipartisan Senate Immigration Plan required e-verify to be mandatory. House never voted on it to protect themselves.

Opposition to e-verify is inconsistent and bipartisan.

These are the answers. We need a president and congress to enforce the already existing rules that are in place.

Put pressure on business that hire illegals, fine the business owners or put them in jail for not following the laws.

Have you ever considered it may be in the best interest to devolve your interstate and highway system to something more manageable?

Yes, I know, since I've cited the report on several occasions.

You don't have the money now, and you never will, unless you increase the federal debt, which will cause more problems than doing nothing.

Then States need to find the money, either by raising gasoline taxes, or charging per mile based on annual odometer readings.

States ;county and cities better start bring bonds to voters because there is not going to be another 800 billion. Federally. revenue sharing is dying as federal government tries to cover basic programs short falls.
