Yeah ... that's what we were told. We were told lots of lies about the regimes that were toppled and replaced with a puppet government. Like WMD's in Iraq ...

By George your right!

That's exactly what we are doing
True, but not "we". Americans didn't elect the international bankers and corporate pirates that pull the strings.

The truth will be exposed eventually and these powerful men prosecuted for treason.

Default Not hardly

Military force cannot defeat an ideology. If this were the case, we wouldn't have a Conservative party representing Dixie after the North beat the hell out of the South in the Civil War. ISIS wouldn't exist after Dubya attacked Iraq and Afghanistan. Criminally-inclined people would not continue to commit crimes after they have been prosecuted and incarcerated. Russia's actions are more than likely to be self-serving, as a means to give itself leverage to easing sanctions and being able to continue striving to return to what the Soviet Union was.

Of course Conservatives are too short-sighted to understand this, suffering from Dubya-itis in thinking that ideologies can be defeated by military means. Pathetic.

More proof that the U.S. and it's allies (including Israel) is supporting ISIS and using ISIS to defeat Syria.

Soon you will witness the complete and utter TRUE destruction of "ISIS"
once and for all, and you won't be seeing any Israeli attacks on Syrian
soil against Hezbollah either.

OK...

So, when can we expect this "obliteration" you speak of to begin?

Just about as well as our more recent invasion of the same place. At least we haven't had to observe the puppet government we tried to install in Kabul get its throats cut by the Afgan people! The Soviets and Mikhail Gorbachev did have to witness that symbol of ultimate failure. Add that to poor economic performance, Chernobyl and the collapse of the Soviet security alliance in Europe and Mikhail Gorbachchev became the final President of the USSR (which broke up into 15 pieces) and General Secretary of the CPSU in 1991.

Military failure added to economic failure (shortages, unemployment inflation and currency devaluation) terrorism and general disillusionment is bad news for a Russian strongman like Putin. I'm cheering Vladimir on, I hope he sinks up to his neck in this sand trap.
