China has numerous deep structural flaws that will never let it become a true world power.

You might have been able to say that 20 years ago but it makes no sense now. Despite its flaws, China already is a major world power.

Basic capitalism at work. If the punishment for murder is cheaper then not killing someone, you kill them.

Many here would argue that this is exactly how free markets work, and that that is a good thing because-free markets!

I've stayed in China for several years, stories like this doesn't surprise me.

I think poor and middle class Chinese people are incredibly kind and nice, the so called "rich" ones are evil to say the least. Just because they could afford a BMW (lol), they all of sudden believed they would be God.

One does not build a great mansion on a weak foundation and China has serious socioeconomic problems a zany currency policy can't patch over forever.
