Sort of like the Kentucky Clerk for failing to uphold laws. I know, I know "it's different."

THIS is an excellent question. I would like to know the answer myself. I have heard some say that those mayors aren't violating anyone's rights but I'd beg to differ. When you let violent criminals roam the streets willfully, you are in effect violating people's right to life when they decide to kill.

If they receive a direct order to do something I expect they would comply. However, being a complex and expensive crime to tackle, it wouldn't be fair to force a municipality with limited income to take on the responsibility.

Possibly funding. Or maybe manpower? No clue since I am not privy to the inner workings of those offices.

I would expect them to follow any court orders to do their job to be followed, just like the clerk should have.

At least they aren't claiming that Jesus made them do it.

Has there been a successful lawsuit and did a judge order them to comply? No? Then there's no comparison. Wosshername is not in jail for not doing her job, she's in jail for contempt of court.

That was easy.

They need to be sued by the Fed to force compliance.

How about allocating manpower to actually disobey laws like so many do? As I predicted, this answer= "it's different."

Actually the right thing to do would be the Fed takes over operations of City Hall until it's resolved. It is the Fed's responsibility to ensure the safety of the residents from non-American invaders in our country.

The City Hall bureaucrats who pushed through this ridiculous sanctuary city thing should be in prison.

Bevause perversion and unnatural acts are good.

Because future democrat voters, enough to overwhelm future republicans, are good!

I don't know, but they should be in jail. Lock them up and throw away the key.
