this is why min wage should NOT be set by the federal level...it should be a state or local (maybe county) level

And again, its insane to consider trying to fight the thousand plus battles you want to encourage. Its nonsense. Its a recipe for a massive race to the bottom where corporations hold all the cards and pressure local counties. Its EXACTLY why the federal level IS where it is set.

Tell you what...I have a solution, we know the median COL....lets set the $15/hr wage at that COL, and then adjust it for every county based on their COL....and make this a federal law. Better?

basically many market leaders are saying its cheaper with less liability to just pay them off than have workers not needed.4+ million jobs unfilled and illegal working here so the truth on employment :I am afraid. What happens when you have jobs and so few qualified to do them in modern world so many did not prepare themselves for. Perhaps relate dropout rate to this. and the grade level of some who graduate public schools.
