States know about the refugees..what are you referring to? Refugees go through a comprehensive vetting process they don't just land on a plane in St. Louis and go find an apartment. The program assigns vetted refugees to volunteer organizations in 190 cities. Some Governors are refusing to accept Syrian refugees- if they didn't know who was coming to their state, how could they do that

And plus we have 9 welcome centers in the ME to do all this vetting before we buy them airline tickets.
So your assuming these refuges won't be able to work, be educated, and will be a drag on your economy. Like . .i dunno. . .its happened a lot of times in the past, and refugees have always contributed to our economic power and diversity

I think it's wonderful. 8 American citizens of Syrian background got together and purchased a boarded up and abandoned elementary school.
It's their decision what they want to do with it...
Well, property is cheap in Michigan. All the boarded up homes because people lost their jobs and had to leave. Now a way for the city to make a profit? Learn the process of bringing in refugees. Looks like a win for those investors right?
