That's really not anything when you look at the total number of displaced people which is estimated somewhere in the 3-4 million range with Germany taking in a large bulk at 800k. The US gets around 75k legal immigrants per year so it is a large percentage of our yearly intake.

either way, I'm all for helping folks out, but liberals aren't going to get anywhere with anyone with the shaming and "we're responsible for this" talk.

Democrats have a special talent for turning everyone against them.

If I knew that were a fact, I'd want them coming here.

A person owning a corner store will be contributing more to this country than probably 50% of the people who live here now.

The government certainly doesn't have problem with bringing these people here. And yet several of the posters on this thread think they would know what these refugees would end up doing once they're already here.

The Government should act according to the popular vote, yet the Trojan Horse is being wheeled in. So much for democracy.

So, 10,000 refugees of unknown skill and background are going to help us how? Maybe they're all union construction workers and Engineers. But, no one would know that

Agree. Things like this are fundamental changes to a nation and it should be put to a popular vote. Not something unilaterally decided by people at the top of government, which likely aren't affected by things like this.

I think what needs to be looked at is do we have jobs and resources for these people without it depleting those things from Americans. Also, is their culture compatible with ours and will they assimilate into our society. These are important things to consider.

It worked on someone.

Because we know it's all about the wide-eyed children and babies. Now, where's that video of the adult "refugee" making a throat-cutting gesture for the cameras? How's that for "perspective? "

Wake up, sheeple.
