The point is, that you have ignorance running amok ion the board claiming that a strong military is a bad thing. So we can point to what the current weaker military has led to.
It's called learning from our mistakes.
Our 'mistakes' were made between 2003--2007, by an admin with an aggressive agenda and unnecessary invasions, aggressions and war. Obama has mostly been left to manage the mistaken decisions of Bush/Cheney, and has done an admirable job of this, considering the hand he was dealt.
Aside from the psychological guilt and blame Bush had to deal with, neither he or Cheney ever really were forced to face and deal with the consequences of their extremely reckless actions.
