Carson seems to think he's always misquoted but I find that he doesn't give direct answers to questions. He sort of dances with them and circles around the answers but never comes out and says a precise answer. He'd be horrible to work for.

I've thought for the past month

Nomination - Bush, Trump
VP - Cruz, Paul (?), Rubio, Florina (long shot), Kasich (way too moderate, but ???)

The rest might as well go home, its over for them.

Personally I'd go with Trump/Cruz.

Trump = pompous, bombastic ass.

Seriously, it's too far away from the election to get behind any candidate.

Again, while not scientific the poll on Drudge that has Trump with almost 230,000 votes to Bush's 4300 is still saying something the political insiders don't want to hear.

Not in the eyes of the party and that is what matters. Republicans want war. The audience cheered the war mongers and politely clapped for Paul. At on point he had like one guy in the audience applauding his position.

And we all know Trump gives as good as he gets, so this could be an interesting night.
It seemed like everyone tried to get at Trump, the issue is for many it wasn't effective. It just sounded like elementary school insults between the candidates. If the Republicans are really this disfunctional now, there's no real way they can unify enough to win the white house in 14 months.

Something about these focus groups makes me a little queasy. So what...30% of republicans enthusiastically support Trump yet the entire "focus group" quickly jumps to the tit of Fiorina?

"I am not accepting money from anybody. Nobody has control of me accept the American people."

To me, this was the line that best explains Trump's support.

On the ground Trump wins - on TV Trump always loses (according to those doing the talking).

Just about every female commentator I have heard tonite is gushing about Carly. It goes to show just how hard it is going to be to beat Hillary this year. Women are going to vote for her by a wide margin. (Fiorina won't be in it)
