Maybe the new competition will show how psycho some men are…
I'm guessing from your response that either you or someone close to you is overweight and that you've spent years convincing yourself that it's not your/their fault. Am I right?
I don't see this making much of a difference. The cost of these robots will make them prohibitively expensive for most, and those men who are able to afford them would not have a problem finding female partners
They're not going to cost more than having relationships with women, guaranteed. Fixed cost up front probably easy financing, will probably set you back with a maintenance contract at most say $300/month (the price of a new car loan give or take).
That's two dates (dinner, drinks maybe a movie and no guarantees), 1/5 of a decent escort for one night or 1/3 of a typical mortgage.

In your opinion, assuming that MGTOW are low earners, but even at $300/month (and I doubt it's going to be that high) it's cheaper in the long run regardless of your income.
Whether or not people want to have female partners is a personal choice, while a sexbot has little of the positives of a relationship with another person, there's no negatives of a relationship with another person. You're not going to get an earful for stopping off after work for a few beers and getting home an hour late, watching football all day Sunday, forgetting to bring lemons or whatever from the grocery store, rebuilding an engine in the kitchen, playing videogames all night, or having a bit on the side (even if you don't your girlfriend/partner/wife just suspects it).
One thing is for sure, it is going to change the dynamics of society.
They've had their own robots for years....They are called vibrators.
Yep!! How many women have I heard say, they'd match their vibfator if they could. No man is a match for it. When it comes to fantasizing and self pleasure, women have us beat, hands down, stack arms. I don't think men having robot sex dolls is going to effect them, in the least.
Sadly, there are a lot good points being made about the sexes being pushed apart, and if you want to see where it is leading, look no further than Japan with its miniscule rates of marraige and birth despite the inherent beauty of the Japanese female.
However, I don't believe that the misandry diguised as feminism is the real root cause, but a small aspect of a bigger problem. The real cause is that society gives poisonous messsages to both sexes. Men and women are poisoned in modern, liberal societies in fundamental ways.
Men need discipline because they have testosterone. It is a powerful creative motivator, but also is a driver of irrationality, inattention, and even violence. Thus, in their formative years and beyond, males need discipline. They need standards. They need to live in societies that provide both mores and norms to live up to. Increasingly, we don't. Increasingly, we send the message that men should not want to be responsible husbands, fathers, citizens, and employees, but should waste their lives on video games, porn, alchohol and sloth.
As for women, Brietbart got it a little more correct here. Women have been duped, absolutely conned, into thinking that work is something that is neccesary for self fullfillment. This is of course rubbish. Work is fullfilling for that tiny percentage of people who decided what they wanted to be in kindergarten and somehow made it happen. For the rest of it, it is mostly a soul crushing experience that distracts from the time that we would like to spend writing, painting, photgraphing, working on cars, or doing whatever else makes us happy. For a lot of us--and especially women--that means is distracts from spending time with our children.
NOW HERE IS THE CRUX OF THE MATTER: Women have been conned into thinking that they should have children AND work hard so that men can stay single and play video games and watch porn.
The whole thing is ridiculous and disfunctional, which is why every single developed country has stagnant or declining birth rates. It is, by the way, why most developed countries have more immigration, legal and illegal, than their citizens want. If they didn't, they would have declining populations and economies.
Which brings us to sex with robots. It will be no different than porn. Much like feminist man-hating, it will be a small symptom of things, not any kind of prime mover or game-changer.
For the record, I am happily married, my wife is my best friend, and despite that fact that I am not exactly young, we are going to start having a couple of kids next year.
I am very proud to say that I helped my wife through school because that is what she wanted. Of course, now that she has her career, just like most people, she is absolutely miserable from having to work all the time and have Uncle San take a huge chunk of her paycheck to give away to other people. You see, taxation and the welfare state is a part of this. The government needs everyone to work because they need a bigger tit to suckle off of. That is why they need to convince women that it is imperative that they grind away most of their lives in ****ty jobs that they don't really want.
The answer it:
Step 1) Tax revolt. We all need to tell the federal government to **** off. We don't need money for illegals, welfare bums or foreign adventures. Both parties can suck it.
Step 2) Once we are saving more of our own money, we can afford to go back to a modified version of tradtitional values. Once parent should stay home with the kids. This will naturally be the male a majorty of the time, but if the woman is more driven there is no reason that that man can't be the built in baby sitter.
Step 3) Once marraige is more of a fair and productive partnership again, watch men and women go running back to each other, since there is no more natural relationship in the world than a man and a women coming together to have a family.
Peace.

Maybe it's like the divorced woman who remarries but still get pissed off when she hears her ex got a new girlfriend. Having the advantage when it comes to sex and relationships is their birthright and they guard it jealously.
I will say though I always thought virtual reality had more potential than robots. It'll be a long time before we are able to manufacture a robot with a realistic version of women's soft and slippery bits.
I hate to break it to you guys, but we ALREADY have replaced you. Ever heard of dildoes? So shut up and pay for dinner.
That's been mentioned, once or twice. And if I take my lady out to dinner, I do it cuz I WANT to, not because she demands such treatment. I spoil her plumb rotten, because I WANT TO, and I love her more than life, a d she does the same, and more , for me. I'm in no danger of being replaced by an appliance. But we joke about such things, all the time.
I can't imagine replacing her with a robot. Our relationship and personal rapport, can't be replaced by a machine. But, there's a lot more to us than just sex.
Women won't panic, they'll rejoice. Having Sexbots weed out men who believe a woman is only valuable because of what she has between her legs will save them from countless lousy dates and relationships. This is a public service woman will cheer about.
