More competition is supposed to help consumers. That might not be true with health insurance. - The Washington Post

All of these with the blessing of the well paid congress!

Whatever happen to normal capitalism?

There is no big profits to be had in normal capitalism.
Better to buy a politician or use overseas cheap labor where workers have no rights like in Communist China

Lol. Obamacare is killing health insurance companies so now they're merging in self-defense, yet we'll have to listen to libs blather about the bigger insurance companies offering less to their customers when Obamacare is responsible for this mess.

This is what the Democrats wanted for the American people.
And they were just too happy to have it done.

And the biggest cheerleader of them all..the unions, got exempted from all that.

Now you can just suck it up and pay those Obamacare premiums.
You got what they wanted you to have..high deductible health insurance to provide a constant revenue stream to insurance companies and a mandate with a penalty to provide a kickback to Uncle Sam.

Quoted for truth.

This is just the ultimate outcome of Obamacare.

Obamacare gets worse and worse by the month. How some people still think it was a good idea is beyond me.

The mergers among many corporations has been ongoing for many years and had nothing to do with corporate controlled healthcare.

The too big too fail monopolies we have today are the result of the hunger for more power and greed.

They shovel millions to their puppets in power to make it happen

Yea, and Insider Trading Politicians on both sides dove headfirst into the rising stocks for Healthcare Insurance and Pharma. Which tells me how scripted the whole corrupt mess is.

If Romney was president, we would have had Romneycare.
Because it was already paid for by Lobbyists.

Total nonsense. Mergers are a royal pain in the a$$. They're expensive and bad PR because so many get laid off... companies only do it if they have to. Obamacare is killing the health insurance industry and it's completely on purpose.
