Biden has always believed that personally based on his religious beliefs. He's never felt compelled to force that through secular law upon others.
I don't know why so many people can't make that distinction in their own mind.
We can make the distinction. did you see Bush try to push overturning Roe versus Wade? Of course not. Most of us hold personal views, but would not try to change the law based only on that.
If abortion were to be banned who would pay for all the little bastards? Would you adopt one of these unwanted children?
You damn sure don't want any tax increases. Just how would you propose society take care of the result of an abortion ban?
Yep, would rather pay for an $800 abortion than millions to house the adults in prison that should have been aborted.
Then you must be positively apoplectic over the vast number of Republicans who continually stray from the party platform of less government and less spending, eh? Why not tell us about their alleged principles?
IF Republicans had any principles they wouldn't call for government to intervene in peoples' medical decisions.
But democrats have no principles as they allow the government to interfere with health rights through overpriced mandated insurance or be fined. You talk about interfering with health rights the king of the world is democrats
I've never seen a pro-choice person object to someone's personal objection to abortion. They only oppose forcing their objection into law that all must abide.
You're comparing a fetus to a human. They're not the same.
I won't be looking for specific posts, but if you follow abortion-related threads, you know how many times choicers claim there's no 'life' until birth or viability and mock people who believe that life begins at conception. Biden at least admits abortion takes a life, not a parasite or clump as embryos and fetuses are often called.
For Biden to stray from Democrats' platform suggests to me that he has willfully put politics in front of personal belief for the last couple decades. I find that to be despicable, especially since he's taking this position in the presence of the Pope's visit.
You would -- since you obviously didn't read it.

Biden, however, said that he would not “impose” that view on “non-*God*-fearing people that have a different view.”
There is nothing he can say that will change my mind about the man.
