Is it true that some leftists hate the police? There are some people who strongly believe that since most of the protesters have some anti-police rhetoric. Is it true or not?
I'm confused. Which is it? Do liberals support big government or do they hate the police and military? It's kind of hard to have both? Yet conservatives routinely reference both, though usually not at the same time, for the reason I already stated I imagine.
The left has taken a very weird turn toward essentially supporting criminals and criminal behavior. So of course the police represent the 'system' holding the people down.
They hate law enforcements use of force going unchecked. I believe that's right. Sometimes they're hard to understand.
But they've nailed this one as well as anyone else who is concerned about police brutality.
Totalitarian minset and uniform worship knows no left or right. Police becomes a thing in itself where power hungry folks with psychopatic tendencies selectively hire folks just like them, each new "generation" of the power hungries pushes the limits of acceptable little bit further, protecting one's psychpathic arse against every imaginable threat became a top priority, each generation of law enforcement extends the boundary of imagination. Go ahead, worship, sooner or later, the stormtroopers will test even your veneration. Cops must have nothing to do with hiring cops, it is the only way to break escallating cycles of psychopathy and power/blood lust.

My image of the police used to be 'Adam-12' and with experiences in the last couple years has become 'can they be trusted'? And actually it's been right-wing people who have complained to me recently about the police (describing them as 'statist', whatever that means).
