I find all these posts comical as though I don't like guns - everyone in my family has them and if any crap goes down - I'll be darn glad they do. Those who oppose the right to bear arms are going to be mighty glad someone has them if things go south.
If a situation arose how quickly could you fire off a shot?
OK. The bad guy sees two guys.
One guy is wearing glasses, white tennis shoes with black socks, green shorts and a wife beater t shirt. He just got out of a Prius with an Obama sticker on one side and a rainbow on the other. He is helping a similar-looking dude get out of the car, which is parked in front of a fire hydrant.
And then there is another guy wearing a huge gun strapped to his back.
So, who is he gonna rob?
See, I'm the second guy. And the "situation" never arose. I prevented it, and never hurt a soul.
It makes absolutely no sense because so few people actually do this. You come up with a dozen pics of people out of a country of how many million people? You can also google pics of people picking their nose in public and come up with more pics. I'm willing to debate you on any logical topic, but this one does not meet that standard..
So unless I come up with a couple of hundred million pics you're just going to claim nobody ever does it?

Okay, in the context of your original post I honestly thought you were using the phrase "strapped to your back" as hyperbole. I don't carry a gun strapped to my back, I carry it where it is easier to draw and shoot. If you are presenting a situation where the bad guy as you put it already has his gun drawn, obviously that puts a different slant on the situation. Is that your premise? If I felt I was about to be killed or raped I probably would take my chances.
