As an old person, I do not agree. Age alone does not confer wisdom. I have know young people who had far more wisdom than people my own age.

Many of the men in those rooms do not have grey beards. Posting such a broad picture showing a range of ages further proves the point you were trying to disprove.
Not all youth are stupid and not all elders are crazy. Inclusive statements that state either are not productive.
For example I am friends with a great young man that has one of the most brilliant minds of his generation. He has given speeches at many high profile venues that include Google, Ted Talks, NASA and more, much more. He became quite famous in certain circles for a check he wrote to Verizon. He is an author with a long time best seller on the New York Times best seller list, with another due out in November and perhaps one of the best web comics of all time. At his wedding a few years ago, I met many of his, and his wife's, friends and found many with conservative and liberal leanings. The one things that they all steadfastly agreed on was that this country could not continue without having both conservatives and liberals. But, then again, these young adults are not only smart, they have common sense. "What if?" we all thought this way?
We'll be fine.
Why anyone would categorize an entire generation of people as stupid simply because of their political persuasion is absolutely asinine. Even if the ratio of liberals to conservatives among those under 30 is 80/20 it is completely useless to write off an entire generation. You're talking about millions of people.

The problem isnt about ratio, it is about simply stating that someone is stupid because they dont follow the same political beliefs as yourself.

Did you actually look at that picture? I grew up in Pasadena (about a 3 minute drive to JPL) and went to school across from Caltech. The vast majority of people working in astro physics and aerospace engineers are relatively young. They are the ones with the drive and motivation to work hard and have had the most recent training and access to recent discoveries and theoretical research.
Just like most companies, there's only 1 director or CEO who might be in his 50's. Most of the analysts and number crunchers are going to be younger.
Kind of scary that someone who works for a university, I'm assuming not on the grounds crew, puts Obama and Sanders in the same category.
Obama's slightly left of center and the country is actually doing great under him by most any objective measure besides debt. After our country utterly collapsed from excessive deregulation, disinvestment, and military extravagance under the failed administration before his, today we have private sector jobs are growing by millions, record corporate profits, and shrinking government jobs with successful foreign policy and strategic military use. Any complaints are about minutes compared to what has been fixed from Bush / Cheney's mistakes.
Bernie is far left with ideas that generally don't work over the long term.
Hopefully if you engage with these students you'll teach them that sometimes we need a Reagan, sometimes we need an Obama, but we never need extreme ideologues like Ron Paul, Ted Cruz, or Bernie Sanders.
