60 minutes used undercover video all the time in the 60s and beyond. It was ok for them to do it, why not now. How are you going to get people to be truthful if they know what you are doing?
Two independent forensic labs said it was cut up--the info was given to them to take to a fed lab-- they have many- now if you have no idea what a forensic lab does- it would mirror a lab microscope to see every cell -- thus if you trust that with your blood work it works in the same manner it can see very detail - why will you not accept truth? there was NO mention of fraud- or misuse of funds-- NONE
This deboggle regarding planned parenthood could be put to rest once and for all, by an independent third party.
As it stands today, one side says this, and the other side rebukes what is being said.
Why not get a third party, or group, independent of planned parenthood, and the federal government to look at all the evidence for and against, and issue a ruling, one way or the other.
I don't think the government should be the one conducting the investigation because they have a dog in the race, and planned parenthood should not either for the same reason.
I would say, put funding on hold until such time that an independent investigation has reached their conclusion as to what, if anything planned parenthood did, or didn't do.
This business of wanting to shut down the government because congressional people can't reach an agreement over this issue, is just plain stupid, and counterproductive.
It likens to a he said/ she said argument, and in that scenario, no one wins.
Lets settle this issue once and for all, and let the truth be known, whatever that is.
Bob.
Part of the job we elect congressmen to do is to perform congressional oversight. Is this is just one more of their duties you'd like them to farm out to someone else, paid for with more taxpayer dollars?
Maybe we should create another executive branch division to do this function for congress.
All that's needed initially is for the makers of the videos to make public the fullunedited versions of ALL the videos, along with a sworn affidavit as to when/where each segment was filmed.
That will settle most of the issues. The onus is upon the video makers to provide the evidence needed to show they are 100% authentic. Until they've done so, PP has the presumption of innocence and there's no need for a commission or further investigation.
For every right-wing site like the one above that commissioned an analysis, there's a left-wing source that did the same and found the videos were altered.
The videos need to be made public.
give them to the Brits at Interpol! or the French for an outside opinion
No outside analysis needed if they release the full, unedited tapes. All those interested can then listen themselves to what actually transpired.
Remember when NBC edited the tape of George Zimmerman's 911 call? They left out the dispatcher's question, and made Zimmerman's "He looks black" statement appear to be a volunteered observation.
Quote:
Zimmerman: “This guy looks like he’s up to no good. Or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.”
Dispatcher: “OK, and this guy — is he black, white or Hispanic?”
Zimmerman: “He looks black.”
It's already apparent that the people who made the PP videos asked similarly leading questions, such as "If a woman requests you donate the aborted fetal tissue, theoretically how would you go about ensuring you recover your costs for handling that [legal] request?". Since the video makers initiated the discussion and released edited tapes in what appears to be an attempt to discredit PP, it's incumbent upon them to release the full tapes so we can see for ourselves to what extent they went.
