= 2,933 per year.

= 0.91 / 100,000 people. That's barely above Switzerland at 0.8 / 100,000. So what are you afraid of? Afraid you'll kill yourself, or are you a criminal worried about being knocked off by the competition? If you're not a criminal, and especially if you're white, your odds of being shot and killed is incredibly low. Don't let the media think for you.

Careful you might be labeled a domestic terrorist by the hoplophobes for disagreeing with them.

I would imagine that Obama thinks anyone on psychotropic drugs could be considered a mental health issue. This means that more than half the people could be banned from owning guns if he can get mental health a disqualification.
Dear Leader might be on some himself.

No I'm not being facetious.

What difference does that make where violence is concerned? I get this feeling that the argument is if a correlation between something that makes one violent and that person killing someone that it should be brushed aside.

If the issue truly is mental illness, as many of you claim, then no one should object to this, right? Would every one of you gun owners be willing to undergo such an evaluation?
I believe you are on the right track. Now, the evaluation. Will it be a set of questions on a multiple choice quiz or in person? I believe one can tell quite a bit about a person by just watching them. Perhaps a lie detector test, which of course will be challenged by every sleazy lawyer in the country . Only those with a PhD can give the test to diagnose properly? Would the applicant pay for that?

Just a few things questions of which there are no doubt zillions.

Again with the guilty until you prove yourself innocent routine.

Corbo, a schitzophrenic
His father should be in jail for not securing his guns from his son
The father left the keys to his gun & ammunition in a known place.
One man with severe mental issues, got his hands on a gun, and the result was catastrophic for that family.
I don't think this helps your argument.

That should make the families of those killed in the mass shootings feel much better, it's only a small percentage. So suicides are just collateral damage, we should make it easier for them.

Maybe we shouldn't worry about terrorists either as they have killed only a small percentage of Americans.

The arguement i was making was to the statement there have been no mass shootings since 1996. Again why lie? Why be misinformed? Why deceive?

Pay attention.
