Wrong. Most firearms on bases are locked up in the armory unless they are at the range.

Umm… at Fort Hood, only active Military Police had loaded firearms. Don't act like Hassan was surrounded by soldiers under arms and they chose to do nothing as Hassan began killing.

Why are right wingers so supportive of guns and almost worship them?! What makes it more frustrating is that they do not even want gun restrictions and don't care if psychopaths buy gun and shoots innocent people until one of their family members gets shot in the face and killed inside school or mall!
pure drivel. you forget that we have a constitution in this country, and law abiding citizens have the right to keep and bear arms. we have plenty of restrictions on guns these days, so tell me what restriction would have stopped this event? the reason things like this didnt happen in years past is because the criminals that perpetrate these types of crimes didnt know that if they walked into a school if they would meet resistance. now a days they know that gun free zones means no resistance.
so again tell us what laws would have prevented this crime?
People who have the right to life, have the right to defend that life with firearms.
People who need government permission, have no rights.

Check the UK's homicide rate via firearms and realize that our first world cousins across the pond are doing it much smarter than we are. That goes for the rest of Western Europe and Japan as well.

Also, where does the 2A fit in to your plans? What about the Right to keep and bear arms? Are you suggesting that we try and repeal it and if that fails so be it.... or are you suggesting we just ignore it because you don't like it? Dangerous precedent to set to just ignore Constitutional principles....
Id say it would be at about that time that the Second Amendment would become relevant to it's original purpose when the time comes that out government starts just ignoring and bypassing Constitutional boundaries...
