Bush and Blair killed or displaced millions of Christians in Iraq when they deposed Saddam, they are repeating their stupidity in their asinine quest to depose Assad.

'The Pentagon’s effort to recruit 5,400 properly “vetted” anti-ISIS rebels by the end of the year ended in tears when word got out that only “four or five” of these fighters were actually still around. The rest are apparently either captured, killed, lost in the desert, or fighting for someone else.

The US just paradropped 50 tons of ammo on pallets into the most dangerous place on the face of the planet with no way of ensuring that it falls into the "right" hands.

The United States spends half of its budget on weapons and the military, and something like twice the entire world combined, on munitions every year. In order to justify this spending, these weapons must be used and replaced, and if one needs an example on the need for an enemy, you can look at what Cheney/Rumsfeld did when they had Bin Laden cornered in Tora Bora in December of 2001, they simply let him get away. And then they decided to quit looking for him, so that American sheep would remain scared and have an enemy to focus on.

We all know how well Haliburton and all the other blood suckers did from 2001 onwards, and how easy it is to scare Republicans. If a million innocent people die in the process, that is simply collateral damage. Many Christians and American soldiers must be sacrificed at the Altar of Profit

It was a terrible and possibly criminal decision to invade Iraq. We (USA) wanted to punish those that hit us on 911 but Saddam and Iraq had nothing to do with 911 so that's whey I believe International Law was violated. The worst part is all of the Americans killed as well as innocent Iraqis.

You're just making up numbers. The US govt spends about 17% of its budget on defense. It should be reduced to the 8-10% range imo.

54% of discretionary spending goes to the defense budget.
Actual % of the budgetary outlay is around 20%.

If you disregard all of the Government except defense, then it's 100% on defense (except for the 83% on everything else).

If you factor in veterans benefits, 60% of discretionary spending is on defense.

Bush made a mistake. He was not alone - as he got almost full Congressional approval to do what He did.

Obama is doing it on purpose.

Bush bares sole responsibility for Iraq as he is the one who pulled the trigger.

What is Obama doing on purpose?
