Nothing. Not a damn thing. Not a single one of my guns jumped out and went off to kill someone.
Just a friendly reminder to the intellectually dishonest and fundamentally disingenuous folks on the liberal left: Guns don't kill people. People kill people.
To elaborate, criminals who refuse to obey our laws, and mentally disturbed people, kill people.
1. The problem is not guns, it is mental illness and criminals.
2. Law abiding, sane citizens do not go around killing one another.
3. The causes for increased violence are:
a. violent media and culture celebrated on film and in video games
b. breakdown of the two parent family
c. lack of religious indoctrination
d. rise of the drug culture
e. religions that promote violence (Islam)
f. "mainstreaming" the mentally ill
4. The cities with the highest murder rates are in "gun free zones"
5. Criminals will still get guns with restrictions. Criminals prefer stolen guns, as the serial numbers are not traced to them. This is why there is a market for illegally imported guns.
6. Gun ownership in the US is lower than in the past, per capita. What has changed? Society norms and morals.

yes, lets get guns out of the hands of the mentally unstable, and the criminals, BUT let us NOT infringe on the rights of the law abiding citizen with no mental health issues shall we? we already have laws on the books that are supposed to prevent those that have criminal records, and those that have been through due process and properly adjudicated as mentally incompetent or defective, from getting guns. how about we enforce those laws? how about we search out those that are showing signs of mental illness and deal with them?

grenades are explosives not firearms and thus are regulated differently.
F22s are aircraft, and their regulations come under a different agency.

you can eliminate guns completely from this world, and people will still kill people, be it with a knife, a hammer, a rock, a piece of string, or even an improvised explosive or chemical weapon.

Then you folks wonder why Gun Owners don't want to sit down and negotiate with you folks about "common sense" Gun Legislation. Do you know that common sense is required before you do that? Do you know anyone who has advocated or even wanted "Grenades" to be allowed for purchase? How many Gun Owners do you know who want an F22 in their Gun Safe? How many people do you know who can even fly one? How do you expect any support, or anyone to take you seriously, when you make posts that are this Ludicrous?
