Poor Chicago. It was once known, I believe, as the "Peace Capital of the World", although I could be mistaken.

How I would have loved to walk its peaceful streets during the 1920s and 1930s, looking for second-hand furniture sold by Mr. Alphonso Capone, or perhaps purchase some stock in the company with the curious but playful name of Murder, Inc. One could have easily purchase wonderful cuts of Meat at one of the numerous slaughter-houses (known for only employing 'gentlemen' of discerning taste), and Valentine's Day is always special in Chicago!

Who could have predicted that Chicago would turn out so violent?
