Oh please. If any of you think that you're "slaves", then please, leave the work force and flee for your freedom. There's a lot of forest out there that you can use to set up your new digs.

Think of all those starry nights, that you can spend out in the nature instead. Or under some bridge for this matter.
You can find food in the forest. You can sit on a sidewalk, near your new bridge home, and beg for money. You can dumpster dive. You can find food.

Oh, what's that? You want all of your things a certain way? Guess what? You're going to have to work for them. Or do you think that feeding yourself and sheltering yourself comfortably is "overrated"?

"New digs" are not as nice of an option as one might think. Particularly when the number of "new digs" is growing.

Sorry to say but people with this kind of mentality usually don't end up well, as history shows us)))

True that, it's all about what one feels about his/her situation.

Default American workers are treated like animals and slaves!!

I'm thinking anyone who believes that doesn't have a job.

Unless you are a business owner you work FOR ANOTHER PERSON. And this PERSON can make decisions that affect your life. This PERSON can dictate when you come and go or whether you can have time off or not. This PERSON also dictates your compensation for the work you do. It seems you are OK with that. I bet you may go as far as to say you entered this one side relationship on a voluntary basis.

Your statement is just as rational.
Immigration doesn't have to be illegal. Where do you get the idea the poster you quoted is for illegal immigration?

It's ridiculous. People do not need over a month of paid time off to lead a full life. If someone has worked someplace long enough to earn it and a business wants to offer a huge amount of vacation time fine, but seriously over a month paid vacation time for everybody?

Isn't it possible to get a few unpaid days off if you don't have the paid time left? I know I've done that before when I wasn't self employed and needed a day here and there. Never felt like something was wrong with it.
