The Tennessee Blount County Board of Commissioners will consider a resolution asking God to spare their region from what they believe is “His coming wrath” because the federal government is forcing them recognize same-sex marriages.

"The resolution calls upon all of the Officers of the State of Tennessee, the Governor, the Attorney General, and the members of the Tennessee Legislature to join the commission in saving 'natural marriage,' and defending the the Moral Standards of Tennessee.

Tenn. county to consider resolution begging God to spare them ‘His coming wrath’ over same-sex marriage

They also fear it might be too late to stop God's wrath, so in that case they're asking that he at least spare the good Christians of Blount County as he destroys the rest of the country.

Maybe they can get Pat Robertson to come and bless the legislation to assure its passage.

Maybe they could get Kim Davis of neighboring Kentucky to come over with a stack of Rowan County marriage certificates that they could burn as an offering.

Good for them. Least there are parts of the Nation who do not wish to sink to the degenerate levels of depravity the progressive capital SanFransicko has.

And sacrifices, a few thrown stones, and self-mutilation.

Maybe God could spare Tennessee from his wrath over its ignorance and hatefulness.

We can laugh, but the sad truth is, this is the intelligence level and mindset that controls the U.S. House of Representatives right now.

If anything happens to that county that doesn't happen elsewhere, those folks are going to get upset.
