If you are at a red light on a busy and dangerous intersection, and your light turns green you have a couple of choices:

a) Go immediately, because after all the light is green and you have every right to do so.

b) Wait a couple or three seconds and check to make sure no one is running through that red light.

Neither answer is wrong, however, if you choose A and end up dead or maimed, does it really matter that you were in the right?

What's childish is thinking the Bible is bendable because... politics.

What's been brought to light is posters applauding rape.

It is that cut and dry, so amazing it could go 11 pages of justifying the rape and justifying the hush-hush, because of the political cause

What is your obsession with Christians? You are way off topic.

it is what it is.... as I said in the op, her good intentions got her hurt. Perhaps she will consider the fact that "no borders" is bringing in lots of trouble with their philosophy and that her good intentions are misplaced

Which gives you an out to addressing the subject. So what do you think about a woman pressured into not reporting a rape because it my hurt "the cause"?

Yes, I suppose you're the kind of "Christian" that thinks we have to lay back and take it from the "refugees" because Jesus. That's why I'm not a Christian, and have little but contempt for most who are.
